The Development Cooperation Office is organising on 15 November from 9.30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Pati Maning in Barcelona, a day intended for elected and technical staff of the local bodies of the province with the aim of raising the question of whether to deploy municipal policies for transformative cooperation as well as reflecting on the novelties and challenges presented by the new development cooperation law.
The Conference will kick off the 8th edition of the European Days of Local Solidarity (EDLS). The initiative is driven by PLATFORMA, a pan-European coalition of cities and regions and aims to boost and promote international cooperation public policies carried out by local governments. The Diputació de Barcelona has participated since its inception, in 2016, and coordinates the campaign with local bodies in the province of Barcelona.
During the day, the photographic exhibition Welcome, Experiència del Refugi will be inaugurated, with a tour commented by the author. The exhibition will be displayed in this space until November 30.
